This notice announces actions taken by FHWA and other Federal agencies that are final within the meaning of 23 U.S.C. 139(l)(1). The action relates to the Northwest (I-75/I-575) Corridor (from Akers Mill Road to Hickory Grove Road on Interstate 75 (I-75) and from I-75 to Sixes Road on I-575) located in Cobb and Cherokee Counties, Georgia. The approximate length of is approximately 29.7 miles. Those actions grant licenses, permits and approvals for the project.

The FHWA, on behalf of Caltrans, is issuing this notice to announce actions taken by Caltrans, USACE and USFWS that are final within the meaning of 23 U.S.C. 139(l)(1). The actions relate to a proposed State Route 41 Madera Passing Lanes project 0.3 miles north of Road 208 to 2.2 miles north of Road 208 in Madera County, in the State of California. Those actions grant licenses, permits, and approvals for the project.
2013 Temporary Closure of I-395 Just South of Conway Street in the City of Baltimore to Vehicular Traffic To Accommodate the Construction and Operation of the Baltimore Grand Prix
The Maryland Transportation Authority (MDTA) has requested FHWA approval of MDTA's proposed plan to temporarily close a portion of I-395 in Maryland (just south of Conway Street in Baltimore City) from approximately 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, until approximately 6 a.m. on Tuesday, September 3, 2013. The closure is requested to accommodate the construction and operation of the Baltimore Grand Prix (BGP), which will use the streets of downtown Baltimore as a race course. The request is based on the provisions in 23 CFR 658.11 which authorizes the deletion of segments of the federally designated routes that make up the National Network designated in Appendix A of 23 CFR part 658 upon approval by the FHWA. The FHWA seeks comments from the general public on this request submitted by the MDTA for a deletion in accordance with section 658.11(d) for the considerations discussed in this notice.

This notice announces actions taken by the USACE and USCG that are final within the meaning of 23 U.S.C. 139(l)(1). The actions relate to the Tappan Zee Hudson River Crossing (New NY Bridge) Project located in Rockland and Westchester Counties, New York. Those actions grant permits and approvals for the project.
Including Specific Pavement Types in Federal-aid Highway Traffic Noise Analyses
The FHWA requests input from stakeholders and interested parties on expanding the specific pavement types used in Federal-aid highway traffic noise analyses. Current highway traffic noise analyses rely on data from three pavement types: dense-graded asphaltic concrete (DGAC), open-graded asphaltic concrete (OGAC), and Portland cement concrete (PCC). Prediction of future noise levels is based on the ``average'' pavement type, calculated as the average of the DGAC and PCC vehicle noise emission levels. The FHWA is issuing this Federal Register Notice to invite stakeholders and interested parties to provide comments and suggestions on whether and how to include additional pavement types in Federal-aid highway traffic noise analyses.
Notice To Rescind Notice of Intent To Prepare an Environmental Impact Statement: Loop 1604 From I-35 to US 90, Bexar County, TX
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), in cooperation with the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) and the Alamo Regional Mobility Authority (RMA), is issuing this notice to advise the public that the Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed improvements to Loop 1604 from I-35 to US 90 is rescinded. The NOI was originally published in the Federal Register on July 31, 2009 (Volume 74, No. 146, Page 38260) and an amended NOI was published on April 13, 2010 (Volume 75, No. 70, Page 18941) changing the limits of the project.
Notice of Final Federal Agency Actions on Transportation Project in Washington State
This notice announces actions taken by the FHWA and other Federal agencies that are final within the meaning of 23 U.S.C. 139(l)(1). The actions relate to the Interstate 90 (I-90) Snoqualmie Pass East Project, located between Hyak and Easton (Milepost [MP] 55.1 to 70.3) in Kittitas County, Washington. The action by FHWA is the Record of Decision (ROD), which selects avalanche bridges for construction on I-90 between MP 57.9 and 58.4. Actions by other Federal agencies include issuing amendments to previously issued permits.
