Notice of Extension for the Comment Period
The Federal Highway Administration wishes to announce a 45 day extension for the Comment period on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the I-5 North Coast Corridor (I-5NCC) Project. The present closing day for comments is October 2, 2010. This additional period would extend the comment period to November 22, 2010. This project is 27 miles in length through 6 lagoons and six cities within the Coastal Zone. This is a large complex document that incorporates extensive technical studies within this environmentally sensitive corridor.

Notice of Final Federal Agency Actions on Proposed Highway in New Hampshire
This notice announces actions taken by the FHWA and other Federal agencies that are final within the meaning of 23 U.S.C.139(l)(1). The actions relate to a proposed highway project in Rockingham and Hillsborough Counties in the State of New Hampshire, Interstate 93 extending from the Massachusetts/New Hampshire state line northward approximately 19.8-miles through the Towns of Salem, Windham, Derry and Londonderry, and ending at the I-93/I-293 interchange in the City of Manchester. The Monroe Connector/Bypass is also known as State Transportation Improvement Program Project R-3329/R-2559. Those actions grant licenses, permits, and approvals for the project.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended, the FHWA, in cooperation with the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT), have jointly prepared a Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (SDEIS) for proposed transportation improvements in the I-75 and I-575 corridors. The proposed project is located in Cobb and Cherokee Counties, Georgia. The SDEIS identifies build and no-build alternatives and associated environmental impacts. Interested citizens are invited to review the SDEIS and submit comments. Copies of the SDEIS may be obtained by telephoning or writing the contact person listed below under ADDRESSES. The SDEIS and all supporting technical documentation may be reviewed on the project Web site at https://www.nwcproject.com. Reading copies of the SDEIS are available at the locations listed under SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION.
