Notice of Final Federal Agency Actions on Proposed Highway in California
This notice announces actions taken by the FHWA, USACE, and other Federal agencies that are final within the meaning of 23 U.S.C. 139(l)(1). The actions relate to a proposed highway project to widen State Route 99 from the existing four-lane facility to six lanes from the Austin Road interchange in the City of Manteca (post mile 4.9) to the Arch Road interchange in the City of Stockton (post mile 15.0), in San Joaquin County, State of California. Those actions grant licenses, permits, and approvals for the project.
Environmental Impact Statement: Multiple Counties, New York, and New Jersey
The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ) are issuing this Revised Notice of Intent (NOI) to advise the public of modifications to the environmental review process for the Cross Harbor Freight Movement Program (Project Identification Number: X500.19). These revisions include a change in project sponsorship to the PANYNJ, the intent of FHWA and PANYNJ to use a tiered process to facilitate project decision- making, and the intent of FHWA and PANYNJ to utilize the environmental review provisions afforded under Section 6002 of the Safe, Accountable, Flexible, Efficient Transportation Equity Act: A Legacy for Users (SAFETEA-LU). This notice revises the NOI that was published in the Federal Register on June 7, 2001.

The EIS is being prepared in conformance with 40 CFR part 1500 and FHWA regulations.

These actions relate to proposed improvements to the Livernois-Junction Yard, also known as the Detroit Intermodal Freight Terminal (DIFT) and associated external-to-terminal road and rail improvements in Wayne County, Michigan. These actions grant approvals for the project.
Environmental Impact Statement: Cook County, IL
The FHWA is issuing this Notice to advise the public that an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) will be prepared for the 75th Street Corridor Improvement Project, which involves construction of new railroad main tracks, two new rail flyover bridges, and a new rail/ roadway grade separation structure within existing rail corridors in the cities of Chicago and Hometown, Cook County, Illinois.
Environmental Impact Statement: Winnebago County, IL and Rock County, WI
The FHWA is issuing this notice to advise the public that an environmental impact statement will not be prepared for the corridor extending from the intersection of Wisconsin Route 213 and Nye School Road northwest of Beloit, Rock County, Wisconsin to the interchange of Rockton Road and I-90 southeast of South Beloit, Winnebago County, Illinois.
