Agency Information Collection Activities: Requests for Comments; Clearance of a Renewed Approval of Information Collection: Operation of Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems Over People
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, FAA invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The Federal Register Notice with a 60-day comment period soliciting comments on the following collection of information was published on April 2, 2024. The collection involves persons who submit a means of compliance (MOC) or declaration of compliance (DOC) for FAA acceptance. The collection also involves development of remote pilot operating instructions, labeling, and retaining maintenance records. The information to be collected will be used to comply with the requirements for small unmanned aircraft operations over people.

In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the FAA invites public comments about our intention to request Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection. The reporting and recordkeeping requirements of this collection are related to FAA rules governing the operation of aircraft (other than moored balloons, kites, rockets, unmanned free balloons, and small unmanned aircraft) within the United States. These reporting and recordkeeping requirements are necessary for the FAA to assure compliance with these provisions.
