Notice Seeking Public Comment on the Evolution of the Treasury Market Structure
On January 22, 2016, the Department of the Treasury (Treasury) published in the Federal Register a request for information (RFI) on the Evolution of the Treasury Market Structure. The RFI seeks comments on structural changes in the U.S. Treasury market and their implications for market functioning; trading and risk management practices across the U.S. Treasury market; considerations with respect to more comprehensive official sector access to Treasury market data; and benefits and risks of increased public disclosure of Treasury market activity. Treasury is extending the comment period until April 22, 2016 to provide additional opportunity to comment.
Sanctions Actions Pursuant to Executive Orders 13382 and 13687
The Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) is publishing the names of three individuals whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to Executive Order (E.O.) 13382, ``Blocking Property of Weapons of Mass Destruction Proliferators and Their Supporters;'' and seven individuals and two entities whose property and interests in property are blocked pursuant to E.O. 13687, ``Imposing Additional Sanctions With Respect To North Korea.''
