ACTION: Request for information;
extension of comment period.
AGENCY:
On January 22, 2016, the
Department of the Treasury (Treasury)
published in the Federal Register a
request for information (RFI) on the
Evolution of the Treasury Market
Structure. The RFI seeks comments on
structural changes in the U.S. Treasury
market and their implications for market
functioning; trading and risk
management practices across the U.S.
Treasury market; considerations with
respect to more comprehensive official
sector access to Treasury market data;
and benefits and risks of increased
public disclosure of Treasury market
activity. Treasury is extending the
comment period until April 22, 2016 to
provide additional opportunity to
comment.
DATES: The comment period for the
notice published on January 22, 2016,
(81 FR 3928) is extended. Comments
must be received no later than April 22,
2016.
