Agency Information Collection Activities: National Park Service Bear Sighting and Encounter Reports
In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, we, the National Park Service (NPS) are proposing to revise a currently approved information collection.
Public Land Order No. 7935; Extension of Public Land Order No. 7593 for Davenport Electronic Site; New Mexico
This order extends the duration of the withdrawal created by Public Land Order (PLO) No. 7593 for an additional 20-year period. On January 28, 2004, PLO No. 7593 withdrew 80 acres of National Forest System lands in Catron County, New Mexico, from location and entry under the United States mining laws, subject to valid existing rights, for a 20-year period. The purpose of this withdrawal is to protect the Davenport Electronic Site managed by the United States Forest Service (USFS), which supports emergency service communication infrastructure.

Peabody Institute of Archaeology has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects and has determined that there is a cultural affiliation between the human remains and associated funerary objects and Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice. The human remains and associated funerary objects were removed from Okaloosa County, FL.

In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), Central Washington University intends to repatriate certain cultural items that meet the definition of unassociated funerary objects and that have a cultural affiliation with the Indian Tribes or Native Hawaiian organizations in this notice. The cultural items were removed from Yakima County, WA.

The human remains and associated funerary objects were removed from Solano County, CA.
