Proposed Reinstatement of Terminated Oil and Gas Lease NDM 94112, North Dakota
As required under the Mineral Leasing Act of 1920, Emerald Oil, Inc. timely filed a petition for reinstatement of competitive oil and gas lease NDM 94112, McKenzie County, North Dakota. The lessee paid the required rental and royalties accruing from the date of termination. No leases were issued that affect these lands. The Bureau of Land Management proposes to reinstate the lease.
Migratory Bird Hunting; Proposed Migratory Bird Hunting Regulations on Certain Federal Indian Reservations and Ceded Lands for the 2017-18 Season
The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (hereinafter, Service or we) proposes special migratory bird hunting regulations for certain Tribes on Federal Indian reservations, off-reservation trust lands, and ceded lands for the 2017-18 migratory bird hunting season.
U.S. Endangered Species; Recovery Permit Applications
We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, invite the public to comment on the following applications for a permit to conduct activities intended to recover and enhance the survival of endangered species. With some exceptions, the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (ESA), prohibits certain activities that may impact endangered species unless a Federal permit allows such activity. The ESA also requires that we invite public comment before issuing these permits.
