30-Day Notice of Proposed Information Collection: Family Reunification Assistance for Afghan Parolees' Immediate Family Members Outside the United States
The Department of State has submitted the information collection described below to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval. In accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, we are requesting comments on this collection from all interested individuals and organizations. The purpose of this Notice is to allow 30 days for public comment.
Third-Party Attendance at Appointments for Passport, Consular Report of Birth Abroad (CRBA), and Certain Other Services
The Department proposes a rule to provide that private attorneys, interpreters, and other third parties may attend certain appointments at passport agencies and centers and at U.S. embassies and consulates abroad to assist the person requesting services (the applicant/requester). This rulemaking permitting third-party attendance will apply only to appointments in support of an application for a U.S. passport, either domestically or overseas; to appointments related to a request for a Consular Report of Birth Abroad or a Certificate of Loss of Nationality of the United States (CLN); and to other appointments for certain other services offered by American Citizens Services (ACS) units at U.S. embassies and consulates overseas (posts). In addition, the Department is proposing technical corrections to clarify who may act as a consular officer for purposes of the Protection and Welfare of Citizens and their Property.
Report to Congress Pursuant to Section 353(b) of the United States-Northern Triangle Enhanced Engagement Act
This report on Corrupt and Undemocratic Actors is submitted in fulfilment of the State Department's Congressional reporting requirement for 2023 regarding foreign persons who are determined to have knowingly engaged in actions that undermine democratic processes or institutions, significant corruption, or obstruction of investigation into such acts of corruption in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras pursuant to section 353(b) of the United StatesNorthern Triangle Enhanced Engagement Act, as amended.

The Department of State as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, is announcing an opportunity for public comment on a new proposed collection of information by the Agency. Under the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), Federal Agencies are required to publish notice in the Federal Register concerning each proposed collection of information, and to allow 60 days for public comment in response to the notice. The Email Archive Management Records, State-01, which is being rescinded, captures all emails and attachments that interact with a Department of State email account and stores them in a secure repository that allows for search, retrieval, and view when necessary. Additionally, the Department of State, by separate Federal Register notice, will also be rescinding the Final Rule associated with State- 01.

Plenary Meeting of the Binational Bridges and Border Crossings Group in Washington, DC
Delegates from the U.S. and Mexican governments, the states of California, Arizona, New Mexico, and Texas, and the Mexican states of Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, Coahuila, Nuevo Laredo, and Tamaulipas will participate in a plenary meeting of the U.S.-Mexico Binational Bridges and Border Crossings Group on Friday, July 21, 2023, in Washington, DC. The purpose of this meeting is to discuss operational matters involving existing and proposed international bridges and border crossings and their related infrastructure and to exchange technical information as well as views on policy. This meeting will include a public session on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 8:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. This session will allow proponents of proposed bridges and border crossings and related projects to make presentations to the delegations and members of the public.
