In this notice, OSHA announces the application of Salini- Impregilo/Healy Joint Venture for a Permanent Variance and Interim Order from provisions of OSHA standards that regulate work in compressed air environments and presents the agency's preliminary finding to grant the Permanent Variance. OSHA also announces the granting of an Interim Order. OSHA invites the public to submit comments on the variance application to assist the agency in determining whether to grant the applicant a Permanent Variance based on the conditions specified in this application.
