Notice of Submission of Proposed Information Collection to OMB; Section 901 Notice of Intent and Fungibility Plan for Combining Public Housing Capital or Operating Funds, or Housing Choice Voucher Funds To Assist Displaced Families and Address Damages Related to Hurricanes Katrina and Rita
The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. Eligible PHAs in areas most heavily impacted by Hurricanes Katrina and Rita will submit a Notice of Intent and Section 901 Fungibility Plan notifying HUD they intend to exercise funding flexibility and describing how program funds will be reallocated and spent to meet hurricane-related needs.
Notice of Submission of Proposed Information Collection to OMB; Youthbuild Program
The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. The Youthbuild Program provides disadvantaged youth, predominately high school dropouts, with educational opportunities and job skills training. Beginning with fiscal year (FY) 2007, this program transfers to the Department of Labor. The Youthbuild Transfer Act provides authority to HUD to administer grants for FY 2006 and earlier until closeout.

The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. Alaska Native/Native Hawaiian colleges and universities apply for competitive grants to undertake Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)-eligible activities to expand their role helping their communities with neighborhood revitalization, housing, and economic development.
