The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. The National Manufactured Home Construction and Safety Standards Act authorized HUD to promulgate and enforce reporting standards for the production of manufactured housing. HUD uses these information collections to calculate and collect monitoring inspection fees for manufactured housing.

The proposed information collection requirement described below has been submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act. The Department is soliciting public comments on the subject proposal. HUD requires recipients of the Federally Assisted Low-Income Drug Elimination Grant Program to provide periodic reports that include the obligation and expenditure of grant funds. These reports include semi- annual Financial Status Reports and quarterly Payment Vouchers. HUD also requires grantees to submit narrative reports that detail progress made in implementing the grant plan and any change in the incidence of drug-related crime in the project. HUD uses the information to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of grant-funded activities.

The principal user, HUD, used the statistics to monitor trends in this type of low-cost housing; to formulate policy, draft legislation, and evaluate programs.
