The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone for certain navigable waters of the Sabine River adjacent to the public boat ramp located in Orange, TX. This safety zone is necessary to protect persons and vessels from hazards associated with a high speed boat race competition. Persons and vessels are prohibited from entering into, transiting through, or anchoring within this safety zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port, Port Arthur.

The Coast Guard proposes to establish a temporary special local regulation for certain waters of Commencement Bay for the 2017 World Water Ski Racing Championships. This action is necessary to safeguard participants and spectators from the hazards associated with race events and to ensure public safety during the duration of the events on Commencement Bay near Tacoma, WA, during the 2017 World Water Ski Racing Championships on July 29, 31, and August 2, 2017. This special local regulation prohibits non-participant persons and vessels from entering, transiting through, anchoring in, or remaining within the race area and prohibits vessels from transiting at speeds that cause wake within the spectator area unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Puget Sound or a Designated Representative. The Coast Guard is establishing a temporary safety zone on the waters of the Atlantic Ocean offshore from Cocoa Beach, FL during the Space Coast Super Boat Grand Prix, a series of high-speed boat races. The safety zone is necessary to ensure the safety of participant vessels, spectators, and the general public during the event. This regulation prohibits persons and non-participant vessels from entering, transiting through, anchoring in, or remaining within the safety zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port (COTP) Jacksonville or a designated representative.
