Entry into this zone is prohibited unless authorized by the Captain of the Port Long Island Sound, New Haven, CT.

The Coast Guard is removing the drawbridge operation regulations that govern the operation of the Route 36 Bridge at mile 1.8, across the Shrewsbury River at Highlands, New Jersey. Persons and vessels are prohibited from entering into, transiting through, or anchoring within this temporary safety zone unless authorized by the Captain of the Port or his designated representative.
