DHS previously published this information collection request (ICR) in the Federal Register on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 85 FR 73731 for a 60-day public comment period. No comment was received by DHS. The purpose of this notice is to allow additional 30-days for public comments.

This notice announces that the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has forwarded the Information Collection Request (ICR), Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number 1652-0001, abstracted below to OMB for review and approval of an extension of the currently approved collection under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA). The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. The collection involves air carriers and foreign air carriers maintaining an accounting system to account for the passenger civil aviation security service fees collected and reporting this information to TSA on a quarterly basis, as well as retaining the data used for these reports for three fiscal years.

This document provides notice that U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has issued a final determination concerning the country of origin of a transceiver, identified as the Barrett 4050 HF SDR Transceiver. Based upon the facts presented, CBP has concluded in the final determination that the transceiver, which is assembled in the United States of various imported components, including three Australian-origin printed circuit board assemblies, is not a product of a foreign country or instrumentality designated for purposes of U.S. Government procurement.
