Automated Commercial Environment (ACE): National Customs Automation Program Test of Automated Truck Manifest for Truck Carrier Accounts; Deployment Schedule
The Bureau of Customs and Border Protection, in conjunction with the Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, is currently conducting a National Customs Automation Program (NCAP) test concerning the transmission of automated truck manifest data. This document announces the next group, or cluster, of ports to be deployed for this test.
Intent To Request Renewal From OMB of One Current Public Collection of Information: Sensitive Security Information Threat Assessments
The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) invites public comment on one currently approved information collection requirement abstracted below that we will submit to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for renewal in compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act. TSA is seeking to renew the control number for the maximum three-year period in order to continue compliance with sec. 525 of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act of 2007 (DHS Appropriations Act), and to continue the process TSA developed to determine whether the party or representative of a party seeking access to sensitive security information (SSI) in a civil proceeding in federal court may be granted access to the SSI.
Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee
The Merchant Marine Personnel Advisory Committee (MERPAC) and its working groups will meet to discuss various issues relating to the training and fitness of merchant marine personnel. MERPAC advises the Secretary of Homeland Security on matters relating to the training, qualifications, licensing, and certification of seamen serving in the U.S. merchant marine. All meetings will be open to the public.
