Re-Establishment of the National Urban Search and Rescue Response System Advisory Committee
The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security has determined that the re-establishment of the National Urban Search and Rescue Response System Advisory Committee is necessary and in the public interest in connection with the performance of duties of the National Urban Search and Rescue Response System. This determination follows consultation with the Committee Management Secretariat, General Services Administration. The Coast Guard is establishing special local regulations in the navigable waters of San Francisco Bay for the loading, transport, and launching of fireworks used during the 2006 San Francisco Giants' Opening Night Fireworks Display to be held on April 7, 2006. These special local regulations are intended to prohibit vessels and people from entering into or remaining within the regulated areas in order to ensure the safety of participants and spectators.
