GNT USA, LLC; Filing of Color Additive Petition
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or we) is announcing that we have filed a petition, submitted by GNT USA, LLC, proposing that the color additive regulations be amended to provide for the safe use of spirulina extract in foods generally in amounts consistent with good manufacturing practice.
Health Data, Technology, and Interoperability: Patient Engagement, Information Sharing, and Public Health Interoperability
This proposed rule seeks to advance interoperability, improve transparency, and support the access, exchange, and use of electronic health information through proposals for: standards adoption; adoption of certification criteria to advance public health data exchange; expanded uses of certified application programming interfaces, such as for electronic prior authorization, patient access, care management, and care coordination; and information sharing under the information blocking regulations. It proposes to establish a new baseline version of the United States Core Data for Interoperability. The proposed rule would update the ONC Health IT Certification Program to enhance interoperability and optimize certification processes to reduce burden and costs. The proposed rule would also implement certain provisions related to the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA), which would support the reliability, privacy, security, and trust within TEFCA.
Proposed Information Collection Activity; “State SNAP Agency NDNH Matching Program Performance Report” (Office of Management Budget #0970-0464)
The Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) is requesting the federal Office of Management and Budget (OMB)approve the "State SNAP Agency NDNH Matching Program Performance Report," with minor revisions, for an additional three years. State agencies administering their Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provide the annual performance report to OCSS in accordance with the computer matching agreement between state SNAP agencies and OCSS. The current OMB approval expires on February 28, 2025.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA or the Agency) is announcing the renewal of the Anesthetic and Analgesic Drug Products Advisory Committee by the Commissioner of Food and Drugs (the Commissioner). The Commissioner has determined that it is in the public interest to renew the Anesthetic and Analgesic Drug Products Advisory Committee for an additional 2 years beyond the charter expiration date. The new charter will be in effect until the May 1, 2026, expiration date.
