Continuation of Temporary Power Sales Program
Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern) is accepting new applications under its Temporary Power Sales Program. Electric utility organizations interested in participating in the Temporary Power Sales Program should notify Southwestern of their interest by providing the information requested in the enclosed Resource Data Form B-2 and/or Resource Data Form L-2 to Southwestern.
Robert D. Willis Hydropower Project Rate Schedule
The Assistant Secretary for Electricity has approved and placed into effect on an interim basis Rate Order No. SWPA-76, which extends the following existing Robert D. Willis Hydropower Project rate schedule for the Southwestern Power Administration: Rate Schedule RDW- 15, Wholesale Rates for Hydro Power and Energy. This is an interim rate action effective October 1, 2019, extending for a period of two years through September 30, 2021.
Sam Rayburn Dam Rate Schedule
The Assistant Secretary for Electricity has approved and placed into effect on an interim basis Rate Order No. SWPA-75, which extends the following existing Sam Rayburn Dam rate schedule for the Southwestern Power Administration: Rate Schedule SRD-15, Wholesale Rates for Hydro Power and Energy. This is an interim rate action effective October 1, 2019, extending for a period of two years through September 30, 2021.
Integrated System Rate Schedules
The Assistant Secretary for Electricity has approved and placed into effect on an interim basis Rate Order No. SWPA-74, which extends the following existing Integrated System rate schedules for the Southwestern Power Administration: Rate Schedule P-13A, Wholesale Rates for Hydro Peaking Power; Rate Schedule NFTS-13A, Wholesale Rates for Non-Federal Transmission/Interconnection Facilities Service; Rate Schedule EE-13, Wholesale Rates for Excess Energy. This is an interim rate action effective October 1, 2019, extending for a period of two years through September 30, 2021.
Integrated System, Sam Rayburn Dam and Robert D. Willis Rate Schedules
The Administrator, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern), is proposing a two-year extension to the currently approved rate schedules for the Integrated System, the Sam Rayburn Dam, and the Robert Douglas Willis Hydropower Project (Robert D. Willis) for the period October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2021. Southwestern's current Integrated System rate schedules (P-13A, NFTS-13A, and EE-13), Sam Rayburn Dam rate schedule (SRD-15), and Robert D. Willis rate schedule (RDW-15) are set to expire September 30, 2019.
Integrated System Rate Schedule
The Assistant Secretary has approved and placed into effect on an interim basis Rate Order No. SWPA-73, which provides the following Integrated System Wholesale Rates for Hydro Peaking Power (P-13A) Rate Schedule: Rate Schedule P-13A, Wholesale Rates for Hydro Peaking Power.
Integrated System Power Rates
The Administrator, Southwestern Power Administration (Southwestern), is proposing to add a new section to Southwestern's existing Integrated System Wholesale Rates for Hydro Peaking Power (P- 13) Rate Schedule. This new section is necessary to effect a uniform shift in the time Southwestern requires its customers to submit Peaking Energy schedules. Southwestern has determined that the shift in Peaking Energy Schedule Submission Time from the current 2:00 p.m. CPT to the proposed 2:30 p.m. CPT allows Southwestern's customers to best incorporate Federal hydropower in their energy resource portfolios and better align with regional energy market considerations.
