Certain Metal Lockers and Parts Thereof From the People's Republic of China: Amended Preliminary Affirmative Countervailing Duty Determination
On December 14, 2020, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) published in the Federal Register the preliminary determination of the countervailing duty (CVD) investigation of certain metal lockers and parts thereof (metal lockers) from the People's Republic of China (China). Commerce is amending the scope of the preliminary determination.
Initiation of Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Administrative Reviews
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) has received requests to conduct administrative reviews of various antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders and findings with January anniversary dates. In accordance with Commerce's regulations, we are initiating those administrative reviews.
Notice of Scope Rulings
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) hereby publishes a list of scope rulings and anti-circumvention determinations made during the period October 1, 2020-December 31, 2020. We intend to publish future lists after the close of the next calendar quarter.
Certain Vertical Shaft Engines Between 225cc and 999cc, and Parts Thereof From the People's Republic of China: Countervailing Duty Order and Amended Final Affirmative Countervailing Duty Determination
Based on affirmative final determinations by the Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the International Trade Commission (ITC), Commerce is issuing a countervailing duty order on certain vertical shaft engines between 225cc and 999cc, and parts thereof (vertical shaft engines) from the People's Republic of China (China). In addition, Commerce is amending its final determination with respect to vertical shaft engines from China to correct ministerial errors.
Certain Large Vertical Shaft Engines Between 225cc and 999cc, and Parts Thereof, From the People's Republic of China: Amended Final Antidumping Duty Determination and Antidumping Duty Order
Based on affirmative final determinations by the Department of Commerce (Commerce) and the International Trade Commission (ITC), Commerce is issuing an antidumping duty (AD) order on certain large vertical shaft engines between 225cc and 999cc, and parts thereof (large vertical shaft engines) from the People's Republic of China (China). In addition, Commerce is amending its final determination to correct a ministerial error with respect to the final dumping rate determination for Loncin Motor Co., Ltd. (Loncin) and, therefore, is also amending its final determination as to the rate applicable to the separate rate companies.
Methionine From Japan: Preliminary Affirmative Determination of Sales at Less Than Fair Value, Preliminary Affirmative Determination of Critical Circumstances and Postponement of Final Determination and Extension of Provisional Measures
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that methionine from Japan is being, or is likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value (LTFV). The period of investigation is July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination.
Methionine From Spain: Preliminary Affirmative Determination of Sales at Less Than Fair Value, Preliminary Negative Determination of Critical Circumstances, Postponement of Final Determination, and Extension of Provisional Measures
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that methionine from Spain is being, or is likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value (LTFV). Commerce also preliminarily determines that critical circumstances do not exist with respect to certain imports of subject merchandise. The period of investigation is July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination.
Methionine From France: Preliminary Affirmative Determination of Sales at Less Than Fair Value and Partial Affirmative Determination of Critical Circumstances
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that methionine from France is being, or is likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value (LTFV). Commerce also preliminarily determines that critical circumstances exist with respect to certain imports of subject merchandise. The period of investigation is July 1, 2019, through June 30, 2020. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination.
Magnesium Metal From the People's Republic of China: Preliminary Results of Antidumping Administrative Review; 2019-20
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) is conducting the administrative review of the antidumping duty (AD) order on magnesium metal from the People's Republic of China (China). The period of review (POR) is April 1, 2019, through March 31, 2020. Commerce preliminarily determines that Tianjin Magnesium International Co., Ltd. (TMI) and Tianjin Magnesium Metal Co., Ltd. (TMM) did not have reviewable entries during the POR. We invite interested parties to comment on these preliminary results.
Certain Chassis and Subassemblies Thereof From the People's Republic of China: Preliminary Affirmative Determination of Sales at Less Than Fair Value
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that certain chassis and subassemblies thereof from the People's Republic of China (China) are being, or are likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value (LTFV). The period of investigation (POI) is January 1, 2020, through June 30, 2020. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination.
