Initiation of Antidumping and Countervailing Duty Administrative Reviews
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) has received requests to conduct administrative reviews of various antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) orders and findings with August anniversary dates. In accordance with Commerce's regulations, we are initiating those administrative reviews.
Ultra-High Molecular Weight Polyethylene From the Republic of Korea: Preliminary Affirmative Determination of Sales at Less Than Fair Value
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) preliminarily determines that ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (ultra-high polyethylene) from the Republic of Korea (Korea) is being, or is likely to be, sold in the United States at less than fair value. The period of investigation is January 1, 2019 through December 31, 2019. Interested parties are invited to comment on this preliminary determination.
Certain Steel Nails From the Socialist Republic of Vietnam: Final Results of the Expedited First Five-Year Sunset Review of the Countervailing Duty Order
As a result of this sunset review, the Department of Commerce (Commerce) finds that revocation of the countervailing duty (CVD) order on certain steel nails (nails) from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam) would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of countervailable subsidies at the levels indicated in the ``Final Results of Review'' section of this notice.
Certain Hot-Rolled Steel Flat Products From the Republic of Korea: Final Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review and Rescission of Administrative Review, in Part; 2017-2018
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) determines that the producer/exporter individually examined in this administrative review made sales of certain hot-rolled steel flat products (hot-rolled steel) from the Republic of Korea (Korea) at less than normal value during the period of review October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018.
Certain Hot-Rolled Steel Flat Products From the Republic of Turkey: Final Results of Antidumping Duty Administrative Review and Final Determination of No Shipments; 2017-2018
The Department of Commerce (Commerce) continues to find that Eregli Demir ve Celik Fabrikalari T.A.S. and Iskenderun Iron & Steel Works Co. (collectively, Erdemir Group) had no shipments of certain hot-rolled steel flat products (hot-rolled steel) from the Republic of Turkey (Turkey) to the United States during the period of review (POR), October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. Additionally, Commerce continues to determine that certain non-examined producers and exporters made sales of hot-rolled steel to the United States at prices below normal value (NV) during the POR.
