Department of Commerce January 4, 2012 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

As a result of the determinations by the Department of Commerce (the ``Department'') and the International Trade Commission (the ``ITC'') that revocation of the antidumping duty (``AD'') orders on certain cut-to-length carbon-quality steel plate (``CTL Plate'') from India, Indonesia, and the Republic of Korea (``Korea'') would likely lead to continuation or recurrence of dumping, that revocation of the countervailing duty (``CVD'') orders on CTL Plate from India, Indonesia, and Korea would likely lead to the continuation or recurrence of a countervailable subsidy, and that revocation of these AD and CVD orders would likely lead to a continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States, the Department is publishing this notice of continuation of these AD and CVD orders.

Notice is hereby given that Alejandro Acevedo- Guti[eacute]rrez, Ph.D., Biology Department, Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA has applied in due form for a permit to conduct research on harbor seals (Phoca vitulina).

The Department of Commerce (Department) has determined that two requests for a new shipper review (NSR) under the antidumping duty order on fresh garlic from the People's Republic of China (PRC), meet the statutory and regulatory requirements for initiation. The period of review (POR) is November 1, 2010, through October 31, 2011.

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on this new information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, Public Law 104-13 (44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A)).
