Forest Resource Coordinating Committee
The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is seeking nominations for the Forest Resource Coordinating Committee (Committee) pursuant to Section 8005 of the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (Act) (Pub. L. 110-246), and the Federal Advisory Committee Act (FACA), (5 U.S.C. App. 2). Deschutes Provincial Advisory Committee
The Deschutes Provincial Advisory Committee (PAC) will meet in Prineville, Oregon. The committee is authorized pursuant to the implementation of E-19 of the Record of Decision and operates in compliance with the Federal Advisory Committee Act. The purpose of the committee is to provide advice and make recommendations to promote a better integration of forest management activities between Federal and non-Federal entities to ensure that such activities are complementary. Sale and Disposal of National Forest System Timber; Forest Products for Traditional and Cultural Purposes
The USDA Forest Service is implementing regulations under the Food, Conservation, and Energy Act of 2008 (hereinafter the ``2008 Farm Bill''). This rule provides for the provision of trees, portions of trees, or forest products from National Forest System lands, free of charge, to federally recognized Indian tribes (Indian tribes) for traditional and cultural purposes. This rule implements section 8105 of the 2008 Farm Bill.
Warm Spring Habitat Enhancement EIS-Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest, Jefferson County, Montana
The USDA Forest Service is withdrawing the Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement for the Warm Spring Habitat Enhancement project on the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest. A Notice of Intent to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement was published in the Federal Register on October 9, 2009 (pages 52174- 52175)
