The United States Department of the Army, Corps of Engineers (USACE), has filed an application with the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) requesting that the Secretary of the Interior extend Public Land Order (PLO) No. 7608 for an additional 20-year term. Subject to valid existing rights, PLO No. 7608 withdrew 400.27 acres of public lands from settlement, sale, location, or entry under the general land laws, including the United States mining laws, and transferred jurisdiction over those lands to the Department of the Army for the Chief Joseph Dam Additional Units Project for a period of 20 years. This notice advises the public of a 90-day opportunity to comment on the withdrawal extension application and to request a public meeting.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is proposing a supplementary rule to protect natural resources and public health and safety. In accordance with the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, the U.S Department of the Interior, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Hassayampa Field Office, Arizona, will hold a public meeting for the U.S. Forest Service's (FS) withdrawal application for 3,739 acres of National Forest System (NFS) lands within the Prescott National Forest. The FS's request is for withdrawal of these lands from location and entry under the U.S. mining laws, and from leasing under the mineral and geothermal leasing laws, for a 20-year term, subject to valid existing rights. The purpose of the requested withdrawal is to protect the Hassayampa River riparian corridor, located in Yavapai County, Arizona, from potential adverse impacts from mining and mineral or geothermal development activities.

The plats of surveys for the lands described in this notice are scheduled to be officially filed 30 calendar days after the date of this publication in the BLM Montana State Office, Billings, Montana. The surveys, which were executed at the request of the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Great Plains Region, Aberdeen, South Dakota are necessary for the management of these lands.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces the availability of the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Libra Solar Project, Lyon and Mineral Counties, Nevada.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Nevada State Director intends to prepare a resource management plan (RMP) amendment with an associated Environmental Assessment for the Dodge Flat II Solar Energy Center and by this notice is announcing the beginning of the scoping period to solicit public comments and identify issues, and is providing the planning criteria for public review.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is scheduled to file plats of survey 30 calendar days from the date of this publication in the BLM Wyoming State Office, Cheyenne, Wyoming. These surveys, which were executed at the request of the U.S. Forest Service, the Bureau of Reclamation and the BLM are necessary for the management of these lands.

The Secretary of the Interior proposes to extend Public Land Order (PLO) No. 7628 for an additional 20-year term. PLO No. 7628 withdrew 1,960.10 acres of public lands in Big Horn County, Wyoming, from settlement, sale, location, or entry under the general land laws, including the United States mining laws, subject to valid existing rights, to protect the Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Range. The withdrawal created by PLO No. 7628 will expire on March 7, 2025, unless extended. This notice announces to the public the opportunity to comment on the proposal and announces the date, time, and location of the public meeting to be held in conjunction with this withdrawal extension application.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) has prepared a Draft Resource Management Plan (RMP) Amendment and Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Rough Hat Clark Solar Project and by this notice is providing information announcing the opening of the comment period on the Draft RMP Amendment/EIS.

This Order partially revokes four withdrawals created by Secretarial Orders dated July 2, 1902, August 26, 1902, February 28, 1908, and July 25, 1908, issued pursuant to the Reclamation Act of June 17, 1902, Section 3, to support the Bureau of Reclamation's (BOR's) Grand Valley Reclamation Project. The BOR has determined that 31.10 acres of the withdrawn land are no longer needed for reclamation purposes and has asked that the withdrawals be partially revoked as to these acres. This Order also opens these 31.10 acres to appropriation under the public land laws, subject to valid existing rights. The land has been and will remain open to mineral leasing and will remain closed to location and entry under the United States mining laws.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces the availability of the final Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Approval of Herbicide Active Ingredients for Use on Public Lands.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) California Desert District Office, Palm Springs, California, intends to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to consider the effects of the Control-Silver Peak Project (Project) and by this notice is announcing the beginning of the scoping process to solicit public comments and identify issues.

The plat of survey of the following described lands is scheduled to be officially filed in the Bureau of land Management (BLM), Eastern States Office, Falls Church, Virginia, 30 days from the date of this publication. The survey, executed at the request of the Northeastern States District Office, BLMEastern States, is required for the management of these lands.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is finalizing a supplementary rule for the Moab Canyons Special Wildlife Area (in and near Mineral and Hell Roaring Canyons) in Grand County, Utah, which prohibits rock climbing except when and where permitted, prohibits other roped and aerial activities, and prohibits the construction or installation of temporary structures. This rule will protect vital wildlife habitat from the impacts of roped and aerial recreational activities.

In compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969, as amended (NEPA), and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended (FLPMA), the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) announces the availability of the Draft ANCSA 17(d)(1) Withdrawals Environmental Impact Statement.

At the request of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM), the Secretary of the Interior proposes to extend Public Land Order (PLO) No. 7618, which withdrew public lands from location and entry under the United States mining laws, subject to valid existing rights, to protect the recreational, scenic, cultural, riparian, and fish and wildlife values of the Colorado, Dolores, and Green River Corridors, for an additional 20-year term. Lands included in PLO No. 7618 have been surveyed or resurveyed and corrected. Their official land description has been changed, requiring that the land descriptions be modified and corrected to include lands that were inadvertently not listed in the original PLO. The acreage has been changed from 111,895 acres to 109,287 acres to reflect the updated land description. The land would remain closed to location and entry under the U.S. mining laws. This notice provides a 90-day public comment period and announces that the BLM will host one in-person public meeting in Moab and one virtual meeting regarding this proposal.

Publication of this notice segregates the lands for up to two years from location and entry under the United States mining laws, subject to valid existing rights, but not from leasing under the mineral and geothermal leasing laws, while the application is being processed. This notice initiates a 90-day public comment period and announces the opportunity to request a public meeting on the proposed withdrawal.
