The Assistant SecretaryLand and Minerals Management proposes to extend the duration of Public Land Order (PLO) No. 7384 for an additional 20-year term. PLO No. 7384 withdrew 1,988.27 acres of public lands from surface entry and mining to protect the Bureau of Reclamation's (BOR) Lake Pleasant expansion area. This Notice advises the public of an opportunity to comment on the proposed withdrawal extension and to request a public meeting. The lands have been and will remain open to mineral leasing.

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Alaska State Office, is issuing the Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the Coastal Plain Oil and Gas Leasing Program and by this notice is announcing the opening of the public comment period. The BLM is also announcing that it will hold public meetings on the Draft EIS and subsistence-related hearings to receive comments on the Draft EIS and the program's potential to impact subsistence resources and activities.
