Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act, the Administrator has determined that renewal of the Advisory Committee on Voluntary Foreign Aid for a two-year period beginning January 15, 2009 is necessary and in the public interest.

U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) is making efforts to reduce the paperwork burden. USAID invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the following proposed and/or continuing information collections as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act for 1995. Comments are requested concerning: (a) Whether the proposed or continuing collections of information are necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the agency, including whether the information shall have practical utility; (b) the accuracy of the burden estimates; (c) ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information collected; and (d) ways to minimize the burden of the collection of information on the respondents, including the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology.

This notice is hereby given of the appointment of members of the updated USAID OIG SES Performance Review Board.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is issuing public notice of its intent to establish a new system of records maintained in accordance with the Privacy Act of 1974 (5 U.S.C. 552a), as amended, entitled ``USAID-028, Personnel Locator Systems.'' This action is necessary to meet the requirements of the Privacy Act to publish in the Federal Register notice of the existence and character of record systems maintained by the agency (5 U.S.C. 522a(e)(4)).

USAID is updating this system to reflect the current administrative status and enhance the descriptions of other data elements in order to provide further transparency into USAID's record-keeping practices.
