The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC or the Commission) is considering issuance of an amendment to Facility Operating License No. NPF-29, issued to Entergy Operations, Inc. (Entergy, the licensee), for operation of the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (GGNS Unit 1), located in Claiborne County, Mississippi, in accordance with NRC's regulations. Therefore, the NRC has prepared this final environmental assessment (EA) and finding of no significant impact (FONSI) for the proposed action.
