The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is considering an application for the subsequent license renewal of Renewed Facility Operating License Nos. DPR-67 and NPF-16, which authorize Florida Power & Light Company (FPL or the applicant) to operate St. Lucie Plant (St. Lucie), Unit Nos. 1 and 2. The subsequent renewed operating licenses would authorize the applicant to operate St. Lucie for an additional 20 years beyond the period specified in each of the current renewed licenses. The current renewed operating licenses for St. Lucie expire as follows: Unit 1 on March 1, 2036, and Unit 2 on April 6, 2043. Because this application contains sensitive unclassified non-safeguards information (SUNSI), an order imposes procedures to obtain access to SUNSI for contention preparation.

The U.S. Copyright Office is issuing a notice of proposed rulemaking to establish procedures governing the initial stages of a proceeding before the Copyright Claims Board. The proposed rule provides requirements regarding the filing of a claim, the Board's compliance review of the claim, service, issuance of notice of the claim, the respondent's opt-out election, responses, and counterclaims. The Office intends to initiate subsequent rulemakings regarding additional procedures.
