The National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) publishes notice at least once monthly of certain Federal agency requests for records disposition authority (records schedules). Once approved by NARA, records schedules provide mandatory instructions on what happens to records when no longer needed for current Government business. The records schedules authorize agencies to preserve records of continuing value in the National Archives of the United States and to destroy, after a specified period, records lacking administrative, legal, research, or other value. NARA publishes notice in the Federal Register for records schedules in which agencies propose to destroy records they no longer need to conduct agency business. NARA invites public comments on such records schedules.

The Commission is inviting the public to appear at the public hearing and or to submit information in writing in connection with the preparation of its 23rd report under section 215 of the Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act, which requires the Commission to report biennially to the Congress and the President by September 30 of each reporting year on the economic impact of the Act on U.S. industries and U.S. consumers and on the economy of the beneficiary countries. The report is being prepared under Commission investigation No. 332-227, Caribbean Basin Economic Recovery Act: Impact on U.S. Industries and Consumers and on Beneficiary Countries. The report will cover trade during calendar years 2015 and 2016, and will be transmitted to the Congress and the President by September 29, 2017.

To comply with the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), the Postal Service intends to prepare a Programmatic Environmental Assessment (PEA) for the purchase of commercial off-the- shelf (COTS) delivery vehicles to accommodate route growth and replace aged, high-maintenance vehicles over the next three years. This PEA will evaluate the environmental impacts of the proposed action versus the alternatives of leasing the vehicles in lieu of purchase, and taking no action.

We are proposing to require the use of the Inline XBRL format for the submission of operating company financial statement information and mutual fund risk/return summaries. The proposed amendments are intended to improve the data's quality, benefiting investors, other market participants, and other data users, and to decrease, over time, the cost of preparing the data for submission to the Commission. The proposed amendments would also eliminate the requirement for filers to post Interactive Data Files on their Web sites and terminate the Commission's voluntary program for the submission of financial statement information interactive data that is currently available only to investment companies and certain other entities.
