Agency Information Collection Activities: Submission for OMB Review; Comment Request (3064-0151)
In accordance with requirements of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (``PRA''), 44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq., the FDIC may not conduct or sponsor, and the respondent is not required to respond to, an information collection unless it displays a currently valid Office of Management and Budget (OMB) control number. The FDIC, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the renewal of an existing information collection, as required by the PRA. On April 30, 2012 (77 FR 25479), the FDIC solicited public comment for a 60-day period on the renewal of the following information collection: Notice Regarding Assessment Credits (OMB No. 3064-0151). No comments were received. Therefore, the FDIC hereby gives notice of submission of its request for renewal to OMB for review.

Proposed Information Collection; Comment Request
The Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, conducts a pre-clearance consultation program to provide the general public and federal agencies with an opportunity to comment on proposed and/or continuing collections of information in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA95) (44 U.S.C. 3506(c)(2)(A)). This program helps to ensure that requested data can be provided in the desired format, reporting burden (time and financial resources) is minimized, collection instruments are clearly understood, and the impact of collection requirement on respondents can be properly assessed. Currently, CNCS is soliciting comments concerning its proposed renewal of the AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps (NCCC) Project Sponsor Application. The AmeriCorps NCCC Project Sponsor Application is completed by organizations interested in sponsoring an AmeriCorps NCCC team. The NCCC is a full-time, residential, national service program whose mission is to strengthen communities and develop leaders through team-based national and community service. A copy of the information collection request can be obtained by contacting the office listed in the addresses section of this notice.
Hearing Aid Compatibility Technical Standard
The Wireless Telecommunications Bureau and the Office of Engineering and Technology (Bureaus) adopt the 2011 ANSI Standard for evaluating the hearing aid compatibility of wireless phones. The Bureaus take this action to ensure that a selection of digital wireless handset models is available to consumers with hearing loss.
Sunshine Act Meeting
The Corporation for National and Community Service is correcting the Notice regarding the call-in information for the NCCC Advisory Board meeting that appeared in the Federal Register of July 6, 2012 (77 FR 40023). That document incorrectly listed the call-in number as 888-455-7057 and the conference call access code number as 1876264. The meeting leader, Kate Raftery, was also omitted.
Extension of Interim Final Temporary Rule on Retail Foreign Exchange Transactions
The Securities and Exchange Commission (``Commission'') is amending interim final temporary Rule 15b12-1T under the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 (``Exchange Act'') to extend the date on which the rule will expire from July 16, 2012 to July 16, 2013.
Information Collection Being Submitted for Review and Approval to the Office of Management and Budget
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC), as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork burdens, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the following information collection, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) of 1995. An agency may not conduct or sponsor a collection of information unless it displays a currently valid control number. No person shall be subject to any penalty for failing to comply with a collection of information subject to the PRA that does not display a valid control number. Comments are requested concerning whether the proposed collection of information is necessary for the proper performance of the functions of the Commission, including whether the information shall have practical utility; the accuracy of the Commission's burden estimate; ways to enhance the quality, utility, and clarity of the information collected; ways to minimize the burden of the collection of information on the respondents, including the use of automated collection techniques or other forms of information technology; and ways to further reduce the information collection burden on small business concerns with fewer than 25 employees. Surety Bond Guarantee Program-Quick Bond Application and Agreement
The Small Business Administration (SBA) is issuing this final rule to amend its Surety Bond Guarantee (SBG) rules to implement a streamlined application process in the Prior Approval Program for contract amounts not exceeding $250,000. This rule also makes minor administrative changes to the SBG Program regulations to, among other things, clarify the procedures for submitting application forms and paying fees, and deletes an obsolete reference to a form.
Agency Information Collection Activities: Announcement of Board Approval Under Delegated Authority and Submission to OMB
Notice is hereby given of the final approval of a proposed information collection by the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (Board) under OMB delegated authority, as per 5 CFR 1320.16 (OMB Regulations on Controlling Paperwork Burdens on the Public). Board- approved collections of information are incorporated into the official OMB inventory of currently approved collections of information. Copies of the Paperwork Reduction Act Submission, supporting statements and approved collection of information instrument(s) are placed into OMB's public docket files. The Federal Reserve may not conduct or sponsor, and the respondent is not required to respond to, an information collection that has been extended, revised, or implemented on or after October 1, 1995, unless it displays a currently valid OMB control number.
Benefits Payable in Terminated Single-Employer Plans; Interest Assumptions for Paying Benefits
This final rule amends the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's regulation on Benefits Payable in Terminated Single- Employer Plans to prescribe interest assumptions under the regulation for valuation dates in August 2012. The interest assumptions are used for paying benefits under terminating single-employer plans covered by the pension insurance system administered by PBGC.
