Pursuant to the Federal Advisory Committee Act (Pub. L. 92- 463), the Assembly of the Administrative Conference of the United States will hold a meeting to consider four proposed recommendations and to conduct other business. This meeting will be open to the public.

The Administrative Conference of the United States adopted three recommendations at its Fifty-seventh Plenary Session. The appended recommendations address reforms to 28 U.S.C. 1500, third-party programs to assess regulatory compliance, and inflation adjustment for civil penalties.

The meeting will involve discussion of a research report prepared by Professor Lenni B. Benson (New York Law School) and Russell Wheeler (The Governance Institute and Brookings Institution) for ACUS's ``Immigration Adjudication'' project. The Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS or the Conference) is promulgating updated rules identifying its procedures for disclosure of records under the Freedom of Information Act and its procedures for protection of privacy and access to individual records under the Privacy Act of 1974.

As part of a Federal Government-wide effort to streamline the process of seeking feedback from the public on service delivery, the Administrative Conference of the United States (``ACUS'' or ``the Conference'') has submitted a Generic Information Collection Request (Generic ICR): ``Generic Clearance for the Collection of Qualitative Feedback on Agency Service Delivery'' to OMB for approval under the Paperwork Reduction Act (PRA) (44 U.S.C. 3501 et seq.).

Notice is hereby given that the Administrative Conference of the United States will host a public meeting of the Committee on Administration and Management of the Assembly of the Conference on Wednesday, March 16, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon to consider a draft recommendation concerning the ethics rules applicable to government contractors and their employees. To facilitate public participation, the Administrative Conference is inviting public comment on the recommendation to be considered at the meeting, to be submitted in writing no later than 12 noon on March 15, 2011.

Notice is hereby given that the Administrative Conference of the United States will host a public meeting of the Committee on Administration of the Assembly of the Conference on Thursday, December 9, 2010 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. to consider a draft recommendation on the application of ethics rules to government contractors and their employees. To facilitate public participation, the Administrative Conference is inviting public comment on the report and recommendation to be considered at the meeting, to be submitted in writing no later than December 6, 2010.

The Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS or the Conference) is repromulgating updated rules identifying its purposes, organization and activities, as required by the Freedom of Information Act.

Notice is hereby given that the Administrative Conference of the United States will host a second public meeting of the Committee on Regulation of the Assembly of the Conference on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. to discuss a proposed recommendation for improved agency procedures for determining whether to preempt state law. To facilitate public participation, the Administrative Conference is inviting public comment on the recommendation that will be considered at the meeting, to be submitted in writing no later than October 28, 2010.

Pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995, the Administrative Conference of the United States will submit an Information Collection Request (ICR) to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) requesting approval for the following collection of information: 3002-0003, Substitute Confidential Employment and Financial Disclosure. This form is a substitute for Standard Form 450, issued by the Office of Government Ethics (OGE), which non-government members of the Conference would otherwise be required to file. OGE has approved the use of this substitute form. Before submitting this ICR to OMB, the Administrative Conference is inviting comments on the information collection.
