The FMCSA requests to revise and renew an ICR titled, ``Medical Qualification Requirements,'' due to updated information for several of the Information Collections (ICs) discussed. This ICR is needed to ensure that drivers, motor carriers and the States are complying with the physical qualification requirements of commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers. The information collected is used to determine and certify driver medical fitness and must be collected in order for our highways to be safe.

FMCSA announces its decision to renew exemptions for three individuals from the requirement in the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSRs) that interstate commercial motor vehicle (CMV) drivers have ``no established medical history or clinical diagnosis of epilepsy or any other condition which is likely to cause loss of consciousness or any loss of ability to control a CMV.'' The exemptions enable these individuals who have had one or more seizures and are taking anti- seizure medication to continue to operate CMVs in interstate commerce.

The Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2018 (Pub. L. 115-141, March 23, 2018) (``FY 2018 Appropriations Act'' or the ``Act'') appropriated $1.5 billion to be awarded by the Department of Transportation (``DOT'' or the ``Department'') for National Infrastructure Investments. This appropriation stems from the program funded and implemented pursuant to the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (the ``Recovery Act''). This program was previously known as the Transportation Investment Generating Economic Recovery, or ``TIGER Discretionary Grants,'' program and is now known as the Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development, or ``BUILD Transportation Discretionary Grants,'' program. Funds for the FY 2018 BUILD Transportation program are to be awarded on a competitive basis for projects that will have a significant local or regional impact. Due to the construction and placement of the mooring and anchor winches and fittings, placement of the sidelights in this area would be a potential hazard to the crew during vessel operations and may subject them to potential damage during mooring. Gunderson Marine LLC Hull 116 cannot fully comply with the light, shape, or sound signal provisions of the 72 COLREGS without interfering with the vessel's design and construction. This notification of issuance of a certificate of alternative compliance promotes the Coast Guard's marine safety mission.

This guidance focuses on imaging acquisition, display, archiving, and interpretation process standards that FDA regards as important when imaging is used to assess a trial's primary endpoint or a component of that endpoint. This guidance finalizes the draft guidance of the same name issued on March 5, 2015.
