Section R426-5-700 - License Renewal Requirements for CRT

(1) A CRT applying for renewal shall be in good standing with the local mental health authority. The local mental health authority or designee may revoke a CRT's license upon written request to the Department.

(2) Complete Department approved continuous education requirements of no less than 8 hours every two years.

(3) Individuals are responsible to complete and submit required renewal material to the Department at one time, no later than 30 days and no earlier than one year before the individual's current license expiration date. Renewal material submitted less than 30 days may result in license expiration. The Department processes renewal material in the order received.

(4) The Department may shorten a CRT's license period.

(5) The Department may not lengthen an individual's license period to more than two years unless the individual is a member of the National Guard or reserve component of the armed forces and was on active duty when their license expired.
