(a) Pumping facilities.
(1) Pumping facilities must deliver the
required pressure and volume of water without impairment of its sanitary
quality.
(2) Design pumping
stations to provide the required pressure and volume of water under expected
suction and discharge head based on a hydraulic analysis of the affected
area.
(b) Location. The facility must be accessible at all times. Elevate the pump station at least three feet (3') above the 100-year flood plain. Provide grading to divert surface drainage away from the station site.
