Title 252 - Department of Environmental Quality

Effective 7-1-93, various programs and functions of several state agencies were transferred to the newly-created Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). The following agencies were affected by this transfer: Oklahoma State Department of Health (Title 310), State Department of Pollution Control (Title 555), and Water Resources Board (Title 785). Rules "relating to such programs and functions transferred . . . remain[ed] in effect until the promulgation of rules by the [DEQ]" [Laws 1993, c. 145, § 8 ].
