Section 402.9 - Debtors contact with licensees and banking department

(a) Every licensee must establish either:

(1) a toll-free number; or

(2) a phone number which may be called "collect" for the purpose of enabling debtors to make inquiries of or complaints to the licensee.

Every debtor must be informed, in writing, of this phone number and the Banking Department's toll-free phone number at the time he or she executes the contract.

(b) Every licensee shall furnish to the debtor at least quarterly a periodic statement of account on which the Banking Department's toll-free telephone number, as set forth in section 1.1 of Supervisory Policy G 1 of this Title, shall be displayed conspicuously in at least 10-point bold type.
