Rule 32.3.131 - VEHICLES USED IN TRANSPORTING DISEASED LIVESTOCK TO BE CLEANED AND DISINFECTED

(1) Any transportation company or individual must properly clean and disinfect any car, truck, or conveyance which has held an animal known to be infected with an infectious, contagious disease. The required cleaning will be based upon the specific pathogen of concern and existing federal rules or regulations regarding disinfection and will be conducted under the supervision of an approved agent of the Department of Livestock or an official from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
