3 AAC 23.745 - Applicability

Under AS 21.27.150, the director of the division of insurance is authorized to license a person as a bail bond limited producer. In addition to whatever court rules might apply, a bail bond limited producer is subject to
(1) the applicable licensing and record keeping requirements, fiduciary responsibilities, and disciplinary actions of AS 21.27 as they relate to an insurance producer; and
(2) the trade practices and fraud provisions of AS 21.36.
As of Register 147, Oct. 1998, the regulations attorney corrected manifest errors in the lead in language for 3 AAC 23.745 by substituting "AS 21.27.150(4)" for "AS 21.27.150(d)" and in paragraph (1) of that section by substituting "AS 21.27" for "AS 23.27".
As of Register 161, April 2002, the regulations attorney corrected a manifest error in the lead in language for 3 AAC 23.745 by substituting "AS 21.27.150" for "AS 21.27.150(4)".
In 2010 the revisor of statutes, acting under AS 01.05.031, redesignated former AS 21.36.350 as AS 21.36.125(c). As of Register 196 (January 2011), the regulations attorney made a conforming technical revision under AS 44.62.125(b)(6), to the authority citation that follows 3 AAC 23.745, so that the citation to former AS 21.36.350 now refers to AS 21.36.125.
