The prelicensing education required under AS 06.60.038 to obtain a mortgage loan originator license may be used to satisfy the continuing education required under AS 06.60.160 to renew a license, if the prelicensing education was completed in the calendar year immediately preceding the annual license period for which the renewal is sought.
