3 AAC 04.330 - Public notice of filing of application for acquisition of control

(a) A notice that is made in accordance with AS 06.26.460 must be published once each week for two successive weeks. The notice must state
(1) the date the application was filed with
and accepted by the department;
(2)
the name and address of each participant in the acquisition of
control;
(3) that the names,
addresses, and resumes of new directors, subscribers of irrevocable
subscriptions to the company's capital stock, and any new executive officers of
the acquired company may be obtained from the department;
(4) that a copy of the full application may
be obtained from the department;
(5) a request for persons to submit comments
and protests to the department; and
(6) the address of the department.
(b) Within 30 days after the second publication of the notice required by (a) of this section, a person opposing approval of the application may file a written objection with the department.
(c) The applicant shall file with the department an affidavit of publication from the newspaper in which the notice was published.
