Chapter 32 - Electrical Administrators
Article 8 - Continuing Education
12 AAC 32.305 - Purpose of continuing education

Universal Citation: 12 AK Admin Code 32.305
Current through February 24, 2025

The purpose of continuing electrical education is to ensure that the renewal of licenses is contingent upon proof of continued competency and assure the consumer of optimum quality and safety of electrical installation by requiring licensed electrical administrators to pursue education designed to include the current National Electrical Code and the current National Electrical Safety Code.

12 AAC 32.305 took effect 7/7/94 as an emergency regulation. Due to technical corrections made by the regulations attorney in reviewing the "permanent" regulation for filing, the permanent regulation as it was published in Register 132, January 1995 differed from the emergency regulation even though the section's history note did not reflect an amendment to that section.
