The Board of Electrical Examiners sunsetted as of June 30, 1991 and its existence terminated on June 30, 1992. The Board of Electrical Examiners had the authority to administer the licensing function for electrical administrators before the board's existence terminated on June 30, 1992. In ch. 101, SLA 1994, the Department of Commerce and Economic Development was given the authority to administer the licensing function formerly done by the board.
