Deepwater Port License Application: Texas GulfLink, LLC-Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement
The Maritime Administration (MARAD) and the U.S. Coast Guard (USCG) announce the availability of the Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (SDEIS) for the Texas GulfLink LLC (GulfLink) deepwater port license application for the export of crude oil from the United States to nations abroad. The GulfLink deepwater port license application describes a proposed project that would be located approximately 26.6 nautical miles off the coast of Brazoria County, Texas. Publication of this notice begins a 45-day comment period, (1) requests public participation in the environmental impact review process, (2) provides information on how to participate in the environmental impact review process, and (3) announces the availability of an informational Virtual Open House website (Virtual Room), and a Virtual Public Meeting that will be held via Zoom. The Maritime Administration (MARAD) invites public comments on our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection.
