Certain Video Capable Electronic Devices, Including Computers, Streaming Devices, Televisions, and Components and Modules Thereof; Notice of Institution of Investigation
Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on October 31, 2023, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on behalf of Nokia Technologies Oy of Finland and Nokia Corporation of Finland. Supplements were filed on November 7, 13, and 17, 2023. The complaint, as supplemented, alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain video capable electronic devices, including computers, streaming devices, televisions, and components and modules thereof by reason of the infringement of certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 7,724,818 (``the '818 patent''), U.S. Patent No. 10,536,714 (``the '714 patent''), U.S. Patent No. 11,805,267 (``the '267 patent''), U.S. Patent 8,077,991, (``the '991 patent''), and U.S. Patent No. 8,050,321 (``the '321 patent''). The complaint further alleges that an industry in the United States exists as required by the applicable Federal Statute. The complainant requests that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.

Certain Organic Light-Emitting Diode Display Modules and Components Thereof; Notice of Institution of Investigation
Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on October 31, 2023, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on behalf of Samsung Display Company, Ltd. of the Republic of Korea. Letters supplementing the complaint were filed on October 31, November 13, and November 14, 2023. The complaint, as supplemented, alleges violations of section 337 in the importation into the United States, or in the sale of certain organic light-emitting diode display modules and components thereof by reason of misappropriation of trade secrets, the threat or effect of which is to destroy or substantially injure a domestic industry or to prevent the establishment of an industry in the United States. The complainant requests that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.
