The workshop will be co-hosted by the Department of Justice, Antitrust Division (``DOJ''). Specific topics for discussion may include: early observations regarding accountable care organizations; alternatives to traditional fee-for- service payment models; trends in provider consolidation; trends in provider network and benefit design strategies, as well as contracting practices and regulatory activity that may enhance or undermine these strategies; and early observations regarding health insurance exchanges. Rules, Regulations, Statements of General Policy or Interpretation and Exemptions Under the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act
Based on comments received in response to its Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (``ANPR''), the Commission proposes amending the rules and regulations promulgated under the Fair Packaging and Labeling Act (``Rules'') to modernize the place-of-business listing requirement; incorporate a more comprehensive metric chart; address the use of exponents with customary inch/pound measurements; delete outdated prohibitions on retail price sales representations; and acknowledge the role of the weights-and-measures laws of individual states. The Commission seeks comment on these proposals.
