Reporting Contributions Bundled by Lobbyists, Registrants and the PACs of Lobbyists and Registrants
The Federal Election Commission is promulgating regulations implementing new statutory provisions regarding the disclosure of information about bundled contributions provided by certain lobbyists, registrants, and political committees established or controlled by lobbyists and registrants. The final rules require authorized committees, leadership PACs, and political committees of political parties to disclose certain information about lobbyists, registrants, and lobbyists' and registrants' political committees that provide bundled contributions. Price Index Increases for Contribution and Expenditure Limitations and Lobbyist Bundling Disclosure Threshold
As mandated by provisions of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971, as amended (``FECA'' or ``the Act''), the Federal Election Commission (``FEC'' or ``the Commission'') is adjusting certain contribution and expenditure limitations and the lobbyist bundling disclosure threshold set forth in the Act, to index the amounts for inflation.
