Revisions to the California State Implementation Plan
Document Number: E8-10405
Type: Proposed Rule
Date: 2008-05-09
Agency: Environmental Protection Agency
EPA is proposing to approve revisions to the Ventura County Air Pollution Control District (VCAPCD) portion of the California State Implementation Plan (SIP). These revisions concern oxides of nitrogen (NOX) emissions from stationary internal combustion engines. We are approving a local rule that regulates these emission sources under the Clean Air Act as amended in 1990 (CAA or the Act). We are taking comments on this proposal and plan to follow with a final action.
Control of Hazardous Air Pollutants From Mobile Sources: Early Credit Technology Requirement Revision
Document Number: E8-10404

Because EPA received significant adverse comment, we are withdrawing the direct final rule for revising the February 26, 2007 mobile source air toxics rule's requirements that specify the benzene control technologies that qualify a refiner to generate early benzene credits, published on March 12, 2008.
