United States Mint 2024 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

The United States Mint is announcing new and updated pricing for its numismatic silver products in accordance with the table below, effective July 9, 2024:

The United States Mint proposes to remove its regulations relating to the exchange of bent and partial coin. The proposed removal will end the exchange program for bent and partial coin. This document also withdraws the notice of proposed rulemaking relating to these same regulations that was published in the Federal Register for May 5, 2021.

The Department of the Treasury, as part of its continuing effort to reduce paperwork and respondent burden, invites the general public and other Federal agencies to take this opportunity to comment on the currently approved information collection 1525-0012, as required by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995. Currently, the United States Mint, a bureau of the Department of the Treasury, is soliciting comments on the United States Mint customer satisfaction and opinion surveys, focus group interviews, and web usability studies.

The complete 2024 Pricing of Numismatic Gold, Commemorative Gold, Platinum, and Palladium Products Grid will be available online at https://catalog.usmint.gov/coin-programs/american-eagle-coins . Pricing can vary weekly dependent upon the London Bullion Market Association gold, platinum, and palladium prices weekly average. The pricing for all United States Mint numismatic gold, platinum, and palladium products is evaluated every Wednesday and modified as necessary.
