Wheego Electric Cars, Inc.; Grant of Application for Temporary Exemption From Advanced Air Bag Requirements of FMVSS No. 208
This notice grants the petition of Wheego Electric Cars, Inc. (Wheego) for the temporary exemption of its Whip LiFe model from certain advanced air bag requirements of FMVSS No. 208. The basis for the exemption is that the exemption would facilitate the development or field evaluation of a low-emission motor vehicle and would not unreasonably reduce the safety level of that vehicle.
