Maritime Administration June 12, 2019 – Federal Register Recent Federal Regulation Documents

The Department of Transportation (DOT) invites public comments about our intention to request the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval for a new information collection. The collection involves ocean carrier bill of lading information that will be used to ensure proper and timely shipment of government impelled cargoes, and to ensure compliance with cargo preference statutes. Aggregate data will be used for statistical purposes. We are required to publish this notice in the Federal Register by the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995.
